ContractorCalc is a free tool library from ThorntonAI. It is built for owner-operators, estimators, and small trade businesses that need a defensible number quickly.

Our approach

Every calculator exposes its formula, keeps assumptions editable, and separates physical quantities from business decisions. The tools do not pretend that one national average fits every crew, insurance class, material, market, or site condition.

The current library covers markup and margin, labor burden, job profit, sustainable hourly rates, pressure washing, concrete, drywall, paint, roofing, and decking. New tools are added when they solve a specific estimating or operating problem.
