Per-square-foot pricing is useful only when the rate reflects production difficulty, access, setup, chemicals, travel, and the service mix. This estimator keeps revenue and direct cost visible together.
Measure only the surface you expect to clean, select a rate that fits the surface and condition, then add flat-rate services. Enter crew hours—not elapsed clock time per person—and use a loaded labor cost.
Customer price = area × rate + add-ons. Gross profit = price − direct job costs.
Estimating checks
- Separate house wash, concrete, roof, fence, and restoration rates.
- Charge explicitly for difficult access, water constraints, and stain treatment.

Common questions
Should every surface use one square-foot rate?
No. Production speed, chemical use, risk, and equipment differ by surface.
What belongs in add-on revenue?
Examples include gutter brightening, oxidation treatment, sealing, or a minimum service charge.
What does gross margin exclude?
This result uses entered direct costs. Company-wide overhead and taxes are excluded unless you place them in other costs.
